Application of Article This Article is intended only as a basis of calculating overtime payments, and nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as a guarantee of hours of work per day, week, tour of duty, work period or year.
Purpose of Article The sole purpose of this Article is to provide a basis for the computation of straight time and overtime, and nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed as a guarantee or commitment by the Company to any employee of a minimum or maximum number of hours of work per day, per week, or per year.
