Pre-Scheduling Clause Samples
The Pre-Scheduling clause establishes the procedures and requirements for arranging and confirming dates or times for specific activities or services before they occur. Typically, this clause outlines how parties must communicate their scheduling requests, any notice periods required, and the process for confirming or modifying scheduled events. By setting clear expectations for advance planning, the clause helps prevent misunderstandings, ensures efficient coordination, and reduces the risk of last-minute conflicts or cancellations.
Pre-Scheduling. Any RN may indicate additional schedule availability for time off replacement on the Schedule Request form for his/her unit. Those RNs indicating availability may be prescheduled for specific dates at the same time approvals are granted for time off. This pre-scheduling will be communicated to the RN in writing, and will appear on the posted schedule for the time period. Additionally, staff may be recruited by Nursing Coordinators to replace for LOA, vacation, or specific shifts and be included on unit work schedule.

Pre-Scheduling. The Employer will establish annual work schedules, with the exception of Airfield Maintenance who will have two six month schedules annually. The Manager will confirm the requirements of the work schedule, including headcount, coverage and desired staffing levels for vacation bidding purposes. If the manager and/or the majority of the unit request to change the schedule, the scheduling development process, as outlined in Appendix ‘G’, will commence. Otherwise, the current schedule will be retained. Once the schedule has been established, the annual vacation bidding process will commence, as per Article 23.
