Common use of Pre-Scheduling Clause in Contracts

Pre-Scheduling. Any RN may indicate additional schedule availability for time off replacement on the Schedule Request form for his/her unit. Those RNs indicating availability may be prescheduled for specific dates at the same time approvals are granted for time off. This pre-scheduling will be communicated to the RN in writing, and will appear on the posted schedule for the time period. Additionally, staff may be recruited by Nursing Coordinators to replace for LOA, vacation, or specific shifts and be included on unit work schedule.
