Pre Construction Services. Upon the later of the execution of this Agreement and issuance of a written “Notice to Proceed (Pre-Construction Phase)” by Owner (the “Pre- Construction Phase Commencement Date”), Construction Manager shall commence performance of Pre-Construction Services. Any Work performed by Construction Manager prior to such date shall be at the sole risk and expense of Construction Manager. The timely completion of the pre-construction phase is critical to the timely completion of the construction phase and, therefore, completion of the entire Project. Accordingly, Construction Manager agrees to provide the Pre-Construction Services in accordance with the schedule approved by Owner in writing. The “Pre-Construction Services” include the following:
Pre Construction Services. A. The CM/GC agrees to perform the CM/GC pre-construction phase services and to perform its obligations and to comply with the other terms and conditions applicable to CM/GC under the CM/GC Pre-Construction Phase Services Contract Documents. The CITY agrees to perform its obligations and to comply with the other terms and conditions applicable to CITY under the CM/GC Pre-Construction Services Contract Documents.
Pre Construction Services. Remarks: The procurement was initially advertised as a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in August 2016. Fifteen firms were selected to participate in the project pool and thus given the opportunity to receive the project specific Request for Proposals (RFP). The firms were then pre-qualified into specific categories by project cost and type. Montebello Elementary/Middle School is a Category I school, which is a renovation or addition to an existing school building costing up to $30 million. The revised project RFP was issued on May 7, 2020 and seven firms submitted technical proposals. Four firms were short-listed. The Selection Committee held oral presentations and requested financial proposals from the four firms. Financial proposals included pre-construction phase pricing as well as the construction phase pricing related to fee and estimated labor costs. After review of the financial proposals, best and final offers were requested from the four firms. CAM Construction Company, Inc. had the highest technical and overall score and offered a competitive combined fee. The Stadium Authority intends to return with a recommendation to award construction services if pre-construction performance is satisfactory and an acceptable Bid Package is negotiated. Pre Construction Services. A. Initiate a collaborative document management system for the design and construction teams.
Pre Construction Services. XXXX will work cooperatively with Owner in performing the Pre-Construction Services contemplated in this Agreement attached and incorporated herein as Exhibit B. Among other things, the parties contemplate that XXXX shall, as ordered, authorized or directed by a GMP: confirm the constructability of the Project; validate the established construction budget; propose and cooperate with the Owner in developing the GMP; prepare and provide reliable and accurate cost estimates and data to the Owner during the design phase of the Program to assure that the Project and each Component is designed and is constructible, and can be built within the construction budget; propose a Project Control Schedule for the construction of the overall Project consistent with Owner's Program objectives; propose and cooperate with the Owner in developing the individual GMP schedule, GMP scope of Work and special terms and provisions applicable to each GMP; provide prudent value engineering and cost saving measures to facilitate completing the Project at or under the construction budget; investigate the Project Site; make prudent recommendations to Owner for the integration of the new Work into the existing facilities; and, provide the Pre-Construction Services contemplated in this Agreement.
Pre Construction Services. 1. The Construction Manager shall perform and prepare a detailed constructability review of the Construction Documents and submit recommendations to the School District and the Design Consultant.
Pre Construction Services. (a) Xxxxxxx will assist Overstock in negotiating with the Architect a contract reasonably acceptable to Overstock, for execution by the Architect and Overstock.
