Common use of Posting and Application Clause in Contracts

Posting and Application. When a permanent vacancy arises that the Clerk desires to fill, a notice of the vacancy will be posted for a period of five (5) workdays. Included with the notice will be a description of the position and any minimum qualifications that an applicant for the position must possess, and the actual work hours of the position. Deputy Clerks may submit an application for the posted position during the posting period using the transfer request form. Deputy Clerks hired on or after August 1, 2018 are not eligible for an internal transfer until they have eighteen (18) months of seniority in the bargaining unit.
