Policy. a. To ensure the safety of the City’s employees, co-workers and the public, no employee may sell, purchase, transfer, possess, furnish, manufacture, use or be under the influence of alcohol or Illegal Drugs at any City jobsite, while on City business, or in City facilities. b. Any employee, regardless of how the employee’s position is funded, who has been convicted of any drug/alcohol-related crime that occurred while on City business or in City facilities, must notify the employee’s department head or designee within five (5) days after such conviction.
