BOYCOTT ISRAEL. Texas Government Code 2271- prohibits governmental entities from contracting with a Vendor unless the governmental entity unless contract contains a written verification from the company that it does not boycott Israel and will not boycott Israel during the term on the contract. This section applies only to a contract that is between a governmental entity and a company with 10 or more full-time employees; and has a value of $100,000 or more that is to be paid wholly or partly from public funds of the governmental entity. Terrorist Organization. Texas Government Code 2252 – Contracting with Governmental Entities prohibits governmental entities from contracting with Iran, Sudan, or any known terrorist organization. The District will review the Texas Comptroller website list of companies known to have contracts with or provide supplies or services to a foreign terrorist organization. The Clean Air and Water Act. USDA requires districts to comply with the Clean Air and Water Act in contracts that exceed $100,000 funded by the Federal Government. BOYCOTT ISRAEL. Developer verifies that the Developer (including any wholly owned subsidiary, majority-owned subsidiary, parent company, or affiliate of the Developer) does not Boycott Israel and agrees that during the term of this Agreement (Contract as applicable) will not Boycott Israel as that term is defined in Texas Government Code Section 808.001, as amended.
BOYCOTT ISRAEL. The City may not enter into a contract with a company for goods and services unless the contract contains a written verification from the company; (i) it does not Boycott Israel; and (ii) will not Boycott Israel during the term of the contract. Verification Pursuant to Chapters 2252 and 2270 of the Texas Government Code. As of the Effective Date, the Owner represents that, to the extent this Agreement constitutes a “governmental contract” within the meaning of Section 2252.151 of the Texas Government Code, as amended, solely for purposes of compliance with Chapter 2252 of the Texas Government Code, and except to the extent otherwise required or permitted by or under applicable federal law, neither Owner nor any wholly owned subsidiary, majority-owned subsidiary, parent company or affiliate of the Owner is a company listed by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts under Sections 2270.0201 (as enacted by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., ch. 96, Senate Xxxx 253) or 2252.153 of the Texas Government Code.
BOYCOTT ISRAEL. Texas Government Code 2271- prohibits governmental entities from contracting with a Vendor unless the contract contains a written verification from the company that it does not boycott Israel and will not boycott Israel during the term on the contract. By accepting a purchase order the Vendor is providing such a written verification. This section applies only to a contract that is between a governmental entity and a company with 10 or more full-time employees; and has a value of $100,000 or more that is to be paid wholly or partly from public funds of the governmental entity.
BOYCOTT ISRAEL. Pursuant to Section 2270.002 of the Texas Government Code, A-E certifies that either (i) it meets an exemption criteria under Section 2270.002; or (ii) it does not boycott Israel and will not boycott Israel during the term of this Agreement. A-E shall state in this Agreement any facts that make it exempt from the boycott certification.
BOYCOTT ISRAEL. Xxxxxxx County has not, and will not boycott Israel during the term of this Agreement. “Boycott Israel” means refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking any action that is intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations specifically with Israel, or with a person or entity doing business in Israel or in an Israeli-controlled territory, but does not include an action made for ordinary business purposes.
BOYCOTT ISRAEL. In accordance with Chapter 2270, Texas Government Code, the City may not enter into a contract with a company for goods and services unless the contract contains a written verification from the company that it: (a) does not boycott Israel; and (2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the contract. The signatory executing this contract on behalf of the company verifies that signatory does not boycott Israel and will not boycott Israel during the term of the Agreement.
