Policy and Procedure Every employee has the right to work in an environment free of discrimination and harassment. This right includes the responsibility to eliminate harassment in our workplace, either as a participant or as an observer. This policy and procedure outlines the commitment of Chrysler Canada Inc. to ensure a harassment-free workplace as required under the Ontario Human Rights Code and will act as a guide to employees in adhering to legal and social guidelines regarding the recognition and prevention of harassment. This policy exists to underline the seriousness of workplace harassment and to establish that there is no acceptable level of harassment at Chrysler Canada Inc. Employees who feel that they are being harassed are encouraged to seek protection under this policy. Harassment, discrimination or solicitation, whether verbal, physical or environmental is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. (c05)
Policy and Procedures If the resident leaves the facility due to hospitalization or a therapeutic leave, the facility shall not be obligated to hold the resident’s bed available until his or her return, unless prior arrangements have been made for a bed hold pursuant to the facility’s “Bed Reservation Policy and Procedure” and pursuant to applicable law. In the absence of a bed hold, the resident is not guaranteed readmission unless the resident is eligible for Medicaid and requires the services provided by the facility. However, the resident may be placed in any appropriate bed in a semi-private room in the facility at the time of his or her return from hospitalization or therapeutic leave provided a bed is available and the resident’s admission is appropriate and meets the readmission requirements of the facility.
Human and Financial Resources to Implement Safeguards Requirements 6. The Borrower shall make available necessary budgetary and human resources to fully implement the EMP and the RP.
Summary of Policy and Prohibitions on Procurement Lobbying Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this Contract includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between OGS and a Vendor during the procurement process. A Vendor is restricted from making contacts from the earliest notice of intent to solicit offers/bids through final award and approval of the Procurement Contract by OGS and, if applicable, the Office of the State Comptroller (“restricted period”) to other than designated staff unless it is a contact that is included among certain statutory exceptions set forth in State Finance Law §139-j(3)(a). Designated staff, as of the date hereof, is identified in Appendix G, Contractor and OGS Information, or as otherwise indicated by OGS. OGS employees are also required to obtain certain information when contacted during the restricted period and make a determination of the responsibility of the Vendor pursuant to these two statutes. Certain findings of non-responsibility can result in rejection for contract award and in the event of two findings within a four-year period; the Vendor is debarred from obtaining governmental Procurement Contracts. General Conduct The BSC has specific policies governing conduct in the units, including, but not limited to, assault, harassment, sexual harassment, host, alcohol, party and substance abuse policies. Member agrees to read and abide by these policies. Failure to follow BSC conduct policies will lead to a range of sanctions up to and including termination of this contract and BSC membership.
Expenditure on Safety Requirements All costs and expenses arising out of or relating to Safety Requirements shall be borne by the Concessionaire to the extent such costs and expenses form part of the works and services included in the Scope of the Project, and works and services, if any, not forming part of the Scope of the Project shall be undertaken in accordance with the provisions of Article 16. Costs and expenses on works and services not covered hitherto before and arising out of Safety Requirements shall, subject to the provisions of Clause 16.3.2, be borne from out of a dedicated safety fund (the “Safety Fund”) to be funded, owned and operated by the Authority or a substitute thereof.
Policies and Procedures i) The policies and procedures of the designated employer apply to the employee while working at both sites.
Violence Policies and Procedures The Employer agrees to have in place explicit policies and procedures to deal with violence. The policy will address the prevention of violence, the management of violent situations, provision of legal counsel and support to employees who have faced violence. The policies and procedures shall be part of the employee's health and safety policy and written copies shall be provided to each employee. Prior to implementing any changes to these policies, the employer agrees to consult with the Association.
Overpayment Policies and Procedures Within 90 days after the Effective Date, Xxxxx shall develop and implement written policies and procedures regarding the identification, quantification and repayment of Overpayments received from any Federal health care program.
Cooperation on Safety The Employer and Union will cooperate in continuing and perfecting regulations which will afford adequate protection to employees engaged in hazardous areas.
