Personnel Files and Performance Assessments. (a) Personnel Files The employee, the President of the Union (or their designate) with the written authority of the employee, shall be entitled to review the employee's personnel file in the presence of the appropriate member of management. The employee or the President, as the case may be, shall give the appropriate member of management adequate notice prior to having access to such files. An employee may request and shall receive a copy of any employment record or document pertaining to the employee which is contained in the employee’s employment file. In giving the Union such access, the employee agrees to hold the Company harmless with respect to the Union's stewardship of that information.
