Date of Effect. The following provisions shall take effect and be binding upon the Corporation and the Union for a period commencing the first (1st) Day of July 2014 and ending the thirtieth (30th) Day of June 2019, SAVE AND EXCEPT as may be expressly required herein or as may be required from time to time by the statutes of British Columbia.

Duration of the Agreement This Agreement shall operate for a period of five years form the date it comes into effect unless terminated sooner by the effect of a provision of the Act.

The Standard Form of Contract terms and conditions will take effect from the date at which the electrical supply Customer enters into a contract with the Rottnest Island Authority under the Standard Form Contract. Customers applying for electrical supply services, shall, once the application has been accepted, have the contract come into effect from the commencement date specified in their signed Application Form.
