Common use of Periodic Leave Clause in Contracts

Periodic Leave. 21.02 On out-of-town projects of over fifty (50) calendar days duration, the Employer shall provide leave every forty (40) calendar days. When leave is desired in accordance with the above terms, effective May 1, 2012, the Employer shall provide, on a "use it or lose it" basis, the following: 250 km to 500 km $ 175.00 501 km to 750 km $ 275.00 751 km to 10000 km $ 375.00 over 1000 km $ 475.00 The mileage will be computed from the project to the dispatch point. It is agreed that the above amounts will be paid only once for each turnaround.
