Per Diem Nurses Holiday Pay. All employees covered in this unit shall be paid twice the base hourly rate for hours worked on the following holidays: January 1st Thanksgiving Day Last Monday in May Day after Thanksgiving July 4th December 24th First Monday in September December 25th November 11th December 31st Holiday Hours for the purposes of these holidays will begin with the night shift the day before the holiday and end with the evening shift of the day of the holiday. Time worked on these holidays shall be considered as hours worked for the purposes of computing overtime.
