Pay at Separation Sample Clauses
The "Pay at Separation" clause defines the employer's obligation to compensate an employee for any outstanding wages or benefits upon the termination of employment. Typically, this clause specifies the timing and method of final payment, such as providing all due salary, unused vacation, or severance pay on the employee's last day or within a legally mandated period. Its core practical function is to ensure that employees receive all earned compensation promptly when their employment ends, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
