The Parent Education clause requires parents involved in a legal matter, typically related to child custody or divorce, to participate in educational programs focused on the needs and well-being of their children. These programs may cover topics such as co-parenting strategies, the impact of separation on children, and effective communication between parents. By mandating attendance, the clause aims to equip parents with tools to minimize conflict and prioritize their children's best interests during and after the legal process.
Parent Education. Available instruction for parents which includes information of child development, child services, enrichment activities or the teaching of practical skills for child- rearing such as basic health care procedures for infants. May include specialized course or communication (such as P.E.T.), child discipline, etc.
Parent Education. Annual compensation for Parent Ed courses (011-036) shall be equivalent to three times the compensation for a 3-credit lecture class. In recognition of the longer length of fall quarter for this program, payment for ParEd 011-016 shall be forty percent (40%) of the annual compensation; payment for ParEd 021-026 and 031-036 shall each be thirty percent (30%) of the annual compensation. The full-time load for ParEd sections (011-036) will be 0.223 FTEF.

Client understands and agrees that they are required to complete ten (10) hours of specific education training through the Because they Waited program from Heart of the Matter Seminars (a link is provided on the CAS website) or comparable education training pre-approved by CAS. The ten (10) hours of training must be completed prior to the completion of the home study. Client further understands that CAS recommends that Client complete a total of thirty (30) hours of education and agrees to work towards obtaining the full thirty (30) hours of recommended training. Client agrees to complete and submit a verification of educational training completed. Client further agrees to assume responsibility for all costs to any third parties necessary to complete the educational. Client acknowledges that CAS may grant in its sole and absolute discretion, but is under no obligation, to exempt the Client for all or part of the training required and understands that CAS may consider the Client’s previous training, education and personal experiences relating to intercountry adoption and parenting when determining whether an exemption from all or part of the required training may be granted. Countries may have different education requirements and CAS reserves the right to change the required education requirements. If the Client is adopting from China, the Client understands and agrees that they must complete twelve (12) hours of specific education training as required by the China Center for Children’s Welfare and Adoption (“CCCWA”).
Parent Education. The Charter School may provide such parent education programs as are deemed appropriate by the parent stakeholder group. The Charter School will actively encourage and seek parental involvement in the education of their children.

It is important that you understand the basic principles of Montessori education and the aims of the Montessori classroom, so you have a good understanding of when you child is making progress at school. Attending parent education functions sponsored by the school. At the beginning of each school year, the school holds a parent orientation for families. In addition, we sponsor Parent Education Nights throughout the school year to help families better understand the Montessori philosophy and some class projects. Please plan on attending.

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • HOME EDUCATION 1. Educational services that may be required for home education students as defined in School Act, Part II, Div. 4, Sec. 12 & 13 and School Act Regulations, Sec. (3), shall be provided by bargaining unit members. 2. Classroom teachers shall not, however, be required to prepare educational resource materials or exams, or to assess or prepare reports on home education students, unless such duties are assigned as part of that teacher's regular assignment.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Special Education The Contractor will not be financially liable for speech, hearing, and language therapy services or other Medicaid-covered services specified in Special Education Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and provided to special education students, but it will have written policies and procedures for promptly transferring medical and developmental data and for coordinating ongoing care with special education services. Included within these policies and procedures will be provisions for the Contractor participation in IEP development and monitoring, if so requested.
