Owner Contract Administration Clause Samples

The Owner Contract Administration clause defines the rights and responsibilities of the project owner in managing and overseeing the contract. Typically, this clause outlines the owner's authority to issue instructions, approve work, review progress, and communicate with the contractor or other parties involved in the project. For example, it may specify how the owner can request changes, approve payments, or resolve disputes. The core function of this clause is to establish clear lines of communication and decision-making, ensuring that the owner's interests are represented and that the project proceeds according to the agreed terms.
