Common use of Overtime Scheduling/Charging Clause in Contracts

Overtime Scheduling/Charging. If overtime is scheduled on the weekend on a three-shift operation, overtime equalization will be by shift. If overtime is scheduled for two shifts, then the midnight shift will be scheduled in with the day shift for Saturday, Sunday or holiday overtime work. If overtime is scheduled for one shift on the weekend, then it will be offered on a plant wide basis. A list will be posted on Thursday of each week showing the accumulated Overtime hours from the previous week. Weekend overtime will be 6 hours shifts, when possible and offered to the employees accordingly. In the event of overtime scheduling during the normal week, overtime will be scheduled by shift.
