Common use of Overtime/Call Back Accumulation Clause in Contracts

Overtime/Call Back Accumulation. Where an employee has worked and accumulated approved overtime hours (other than overtime hours related to paid holidays) or has accumulated hours for Call Back up to a maximum of 15 hours, then such employee shall have the option of electing payment at the applicable overtime rate or time off equivalent to the applicable overtime rate. Further, such time off must be taken at a time mutually agreeable to the Hospital and employee and must be taken within the succeeding four pay periods.
