Overtime/Call Back Accumulation. Where an employee has worked and accumulated approved overtime hours (other than overtime hours related to paid holidays) or has accumulated hours for Call Back up to a maximum, then such employee shall have the option of electing payment at the applicable overtime rate or time off equivalent to the applicable overtime rate (i.e. where applicable rate is one and one-half times, then time off shall be at one and one-half times). Where an employee chooses the latter option, such time off must be taken within the period set out in the Local Provisions Appendix, or payment in accordance with the former option shall be made. Further, such time off must be taken at a time mutually agreeable to the Hospital and employee. The maximum for purposes of overtime/call back accumulation and the scheduling of time off shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.

Where an employee has worked and accumulated approved overtime hours (other than overtime hours related to paid holidays) or has accumulated hours for Call Back up to a maximum of two (2) days, then such employee shall have the option of electing payment at the applicable overtime rate or time off equivalent to the applicable overtime rate (i.e. where applicable rate is one and one-half times, then time off shall be at one and one-half times). Where an employee chooses the latter option, such time off must be taken within the succeeding two (2) pay periods of the occurrence or such longer periods mutually agreed upon, or payment in accordance with the former option shall be made. Further, such time off must be taken at a time mutually agreeable to the Hospital and employee.
Overtime/Call Back Accumulation. Full-Time Employees Only Where an employee has worked and accumulated approved overtime hours (other than overtime hours related to paid holidays) or has accumulated hours for call-back up to a maximum, then such employee shall have the option of electing payment at the applicable overtime rate or time-off equivalent to the applicable overtime rate (i.e. where applicable rate is one and one-half [1½] times, then time-off shall be at one and one-half [1½] times). Where an employee chooses the latter option, such time-off must be taken within four (4) months or payment in accordance with the former option shall be made. Further, such time-off must be taken at a time mutually agreeable to CAMH and employee. The maximum for purposes of overtime/call-back accumulation shall be five (5) days and the scheduling of time-off shall be determined by the employee and their supervisor.

(Applicable to both full-time and part-time employees) Where an employee has worked and accumulated approved overtime hours (other than overtime hours related to paid holidays) or has accumulated hours for Call Back up to a maximum, then such employee shall have the option of electing payment at the applicable overtime rate or time off equivalent to the applicable overtime rate (i.e. where applicable rate is one and one-half (1½) times, then time off shall be at one and one-half (1½) times). Where an employee chooses the latter option, such time must be taken at a time mutually agreeable to the Hospital and employee. All hours accumulated in excess of 37.5 hours will be paid out as earned.

Where an employee chooses the latter option, such time off must be taken by March 31st of the fiscal year of the occurrence of the overtime. All hours accumulated under this article that in total are in excess of thirty-seven and one-half (37.5) hours shall be paid out as of March 31 of the fiscal year in accordance with the former option. Further, such time off must be taken at a time mutually agreeable to the Hospital and employee. The maximum for purposes of overtime/call back accumulation and the scheduling of time off shall be determined locally.

Overtime/Call Back Accumulation. K – 1 Employees may accumulate overtime/call back hours in their lieu time bank to a maximum of thirty-seven and one-half (37.5) hours. Where an employee has accumulated approved overtime/call back hours and chooses equivalent time off in accordance with the Central Collective Agreement, such time off must be taken within one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days of accrual. The Employer will revert to payment if the time off is not scheduled within one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days.
