Other Provisions Relative to the Hospital System. As illustrated in Appendices A and A-1, the GBR agreement for JHHS is structured to be a system wide agreement with sub-agreements for each JHHS Maryland hospital. The HSCRC will monitor compliance with the Global Budget target for each Hospital. However, the HSCRC will allow revenue to be redistributed among JHHS Hospitals for movement of services to achieve the desired goals of the new All-Payer model, following HSCRC rate setting protocols and HSCRC staff review. Should JHHS move services from hospital to hospital, the GBR cap for each particular hospital will be adjusted accordingly after review by HSCRC staff; however, the system wide GBR amount will not change.

  • Certification of Funds; Budget and Fiscal Provisions; Termination in the Event of Non-Appropriation This Agreement is subject to the budget and fiscal provisions of the City’s Charter. Charges will accrue only after prior written authorization certified by the Controller, and the amount of City’s obligation hereunder shall not at any time exceed the amount certified for the purpose and period stated in such advance authorization. This Agreement will terminate without penalty, liability or expense of any kind to City at the end of any fiscal year if funds are not appropriated for the next succeeding fiscal year. The Board President or, if the office is vacant or the President is absent or unable to perform the office’s duties, the Vice President determines that an in- person meeting or a meeting conducted under the Quorum and Participation by Audio or Video Means subhead above, is not practical or prudent because of the disaster declaration; if neither the President nor Vice President are present or able to perform this determination, the Superintendent shall serve as the duly authorized designee for purposes of making this determination. The individual who makes this determination for the Board shall put it in writing, include it on the Board’s published notice and agenda for the audio or video meeting and in the meeting minutes, and ensure that the Board meets every OMA requirement for the Board to meet by video or audio conference without the physical presence of a quorum.
