Other Leaves Determined by the Superintendent. In addition to those long-term leaves of absence specifically covered in this Agreement, the Superintendent may, in unusual cases, recommend the approval of other long-term, unpaid leaves of absence to permanent unit members for purposes that will benefit the District and serve the best interests of the pupils.
