Common use of Optical Benefit Clause in Contracts

Optical Benefit. Routine optical care (Plan A only) This benefit provides for the fees charged for corrective spectacle lenses, contact lenses and associated spectacle frames prescribed by the ophthalmologist or optometrist up to the limit shown for your plan. This benefit also pays for the eye examinations carried out by an ophthalmologist or optometrist. This benefit does not pay for tinted/ reactive lenses, sunglasses, non-corrective contact lenses, lasik/laser eye surgery and/or similar, whether prescribed or not.
