Older Worker Sample Clauses
The "Older Worker" clause defines specific rights, protections, or considerations for employees who meet a certain age threshold, typically as established by law or company policy. In practice, this clause may outline requirements for providing additional disclosures, benefits, or protections to workers over a specified age, such as those over 40, especially in contexts like layoffs, severance agreements, or retirement planning. Its core function is to ensure compliance with age discrimination laws and to safeguard the interests of older employees, addressing potential vulnerabilities and promoting fair treatment in the workplace.
