Common use of Observances Clause in Contracts

Observances. The Company agrees to allow employees one (1) minute’s silence at 11:00 a.m. on April 28th of each year in observance of those workers killed on the job, one (1) minute’s silence at 11:00 a.m. on November 11 in remembrance of Canada’s wartime involvement and one (1) minute’s silence at 11:00 a.m. on December 6th in recognition of the concern about violence against women.
