NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR START-UP AND SHUTDOWN. Prior to paralleling to or after disconnecting from the electric system, ALWAYS follow your balancing authority rules and notify your designated balancing authority control center as follows: • Call the balancing authority control center to parallel before any start-up • Call the balancing authority control center again with parallel time after start-up. • Call the balancing authority control center after any separation and report the separation time as well as the date and time estimate for return to service.
