Notice of Charges and Appeal. 13.5.1 The employee shall receive a written Notice of Charges from the Superintendent/ President or his/her designee citing, in ordinary and concise language, the specific acts and/or omissions upon which the disciplinary action is based, a statement of the cause for the action taken, and, if it is claimed that an employee has violated a rule or regulation, such rule or regulation shall be provided to the employee. The Notice of Charges need not specify every step taken in the investigation of the cause for the disciplinary action, but shall provide the employee with enough information to be informed of the reason for the proposed disciplinary action.
