Common use of Notice of Award Clause in Contracts

Notice of Award. ‌ Funds shall be obligated and allocated via a Notice of Award (NOA) grant modification. Obligations and costs may not exceed the amount awarded by the NOA modification unless otherwise modified by ETA. Funds are obligated for the amount indicated in the “Modification 0” NOA in accordance with the recipient’s award amount. The Federal obligation level will be amended by the Grant Officer to increase (or adjust) amounts available to the recipient as funds become available for obligation and additional Notice of Award (or Deobligation) grant modifications are required and issued.
