Subaward i. This term means a legal instrument to provide support for the performance of any portion of the substantive project or program for which you received this award and that you as the recipient award to an eligible subrecipient.

Subaward. In order to assist the Subrecipient in financing the cost of the Project described in Paragraph 1 above during the Term, the Sponsor shall make a Subaward in the amount of $10,000.00 (Ten Thousand dollars), from the Outside Grant.

The GLO, in its sole discretion, may reimburse Subrecipient for allowable Project costs incurred from August 25, 2017 until the Effective Date of this Contract, in accordance with federal law, but the GLO is not liable to Subrecipient for any costs incurred prior to August 25, 2017 or after the expiration or termination of this Contract. All funds obtained by Subrecipient from the GLO and utilized on Subrecipient’s CDBG-DR Activities are subject to compliance with all Federal and State regulations governing this Contract.

The term does not include your procurement of property and services needed to carry out the project or program (for further explanation, see Sec. ----.210 of the attachment to OMB Circular A-133, ``Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations''). A subaward may be provided through any legal agreement, including an agreement that you consider a contract.
Subaward. As used in this Agreement, the term “Subaward” includes contracts, cooperative agreements, purchase orders, subcontracts, orders issued under blanket purchase agreements or similar devices, awards made to sub-recipients regardless of form, and modifications to all the aforementioned to be issued by the Seller under this Agreement. The Seller shall not artificially segregate its procurement to lesser dollar amounts for the purpose of circumventing this requirement.
