Non-unit Member Transfer to a Unit Position. Non-unit members who transfer into professional staff unit positions through the hiring process or a reclassification will maintain their service date in relation to any leave and vacation benefits in this Agreement. Such non-unit members will be treated as new unit members in relationship to notice requirements regarding renewal or non-renewal of appointment.
