Common use of New Assignment Clause in Contracts

New Assignment. Unit members who are transferred during the school year will be given as much notice as possible. Unit members who are transferred during the school year will be allowed no more than five (5) days or no more than twenty (20) paid hours of preparation time prior to the effective date of the transfer. Unit members involuntarily transferred at the end of the school year will be allowed no more than twenty (20) hours of paid time to move materials. The District will provide assistance in moving the unit member's materials to the new work location.
