Common use of Netting of Payments Clause in Contracts

Netting of Payments. The Parties hereby agree that they may discharge mutual debts and payment obligations due and owing to each other under this Agreement on the same date through netting of such monetary obligations, in which case all amounts owed by each Party to the other Party for the purchase and sale of Products during the monthly billing period under this Agreement, including any related damages calculated pursuant to this Agreement, interest, and payments or credits, may be netted so that only the excess amount remaining due shall be paid by the Party who owes it. If no mutual debts or payment obligations exist and only one Party owes a debt or obligation to the other during the monthly billing period, such Party shall pay such sum in full when due. The Parties agree to provide each other with reasonable detail of such net payment or net payment request.
