All prepared shrub beds must include a minimum of 4” depth mulch to effectively inhibit weed growth, retain soil moisture, moderate soil temperature and protect plant roots during the winter months. recommended that all turf grass purchased be Water Star certified. Synthetic grass may be permitted but samples and a proposed landscape plan must be submitted to the DRC for approval prior to implementation.
