Minimum working hours. Where an employee reports for work and no work is available, such employee shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours unless the employee is unfit to perform the employee’s duties or the employee has failed to comply with WorkSafeBC Occupational Health & Safety Regulations. In the event the employee commences work, a minimum of four (4) hours shall be paid unless the employee’s work is suspended because of reasons completely beyond the control of the Employer in which case the employee shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours.
