Common use of Minimum Staffing Clause in Contracts

Minimum Staffing. The Employer agrees to employ sufficient staff and health care aides to meet the staffing needs that may be set from time to time by statute and/or regulation. In the event that there is insufficient staffing to meet this undertaking, the Employer will post vacancies so that any unmet care undertaking will be satisfied. The assignment of resident care duties, including the delegation or direction of duties by the members of the bargaining unit to other health care providers, shall be in accordance with Regulated Health Professions Act and related statues and regulations and in accordance with the guidelines established by the College of Nurses of Ontario from time to time and any Home policy related thereto shall meet those requirements.
