Common use of Minimum Payment Clause in Contracts

Minimum Payment. (a) Overtime worked on a Saturday or Sunday will be paid for at the rate of double Ordinary Rates. Employees required to work on a Saturday or Sunday will be afforded a minimum 4 hours work, or be paid as if for 4 hours at the aforementioned overtime rates.

Employees required to least three hours work on a Saturday or Sunday will be afforded four (4) hours work on a minimum 4 hours Sunday. This provision does not apply in the case of where an employee is recalled to work to carry out emergency work, or be paid as if for 4 hours at the aforementioned overtime rates.
