Minimum Notice of Appointment. AFL Victoria will provide umpires with at least seven days notice of the day they are appointed for the following round. Umpires will not be expected to make themselves available for any days other than the day they are listed as “Appointed”. AFL Victoria will provide at least 48 hours (as an absolute minimum) notice of all match appointments (including the venue and time) to all umpires. AFL Victoria will notify umpires appointed to matches during the week (including Friday night) no later than 72 hours prior to the match appointment. This notification shall include the venue and time of the match.

  • Notice of Appointment 15:14 All applicants shall be advised in writing of the outcome of their applications within ten (10) working days after the receipt in the Department of employment of the written acceptance of the position by the successful candidate, and earlier if practicable.   • Notice of Appeal In the event that an employee who has been laid off out of seniority order believes the decision based upon performance and/or qualifications is incorrect, the employee may request that the Association appeal the Sheriff’s determination. If the Association finds there is good reason to believe that the Sheriff has erred in his decision, it may appeal through the process set forth in this Article. Such appeal shall be filed within five (5) working days of delivery of the layoff notice to the employee.
