Common use of Military Service Clause in Contracts

Military Service. Leaves of absence are granted for military purposes, not to exceed the enlistment or draft period. On completion of the military service, the salary of the employee, SUCCESS employee or sign language interpreter is entitled to reinstatement at the same wages he/she would have received had he/she not taken such a leave, but subject to the following conditions: That the position was not abolished, that he/she is physically and mentally capable of performing the duties of the position, that he/she makes written application for reinstatement to the Office of Human Resources within ninety (90) days after termination of military service, that he/she submits an honorable or general discharge from the military service, and that he/she has the appropriate license(s) and certifications(s).
