Methods of Fire Protection and Suppression. The Protecting Agencies will provide fire detection coverage based on levels of lightning activity and human use or at the Jurisdictional Agency’s request. Upon discovery, the Protecting Agency is responsible to determine, verify and document the incident location, the Jurisdictional Agency, management option, and cause, and implement the initial response. Notification procedures are addressed in the AIWFMP and Clause 28 of this AOP.
