May Omit Grievance Step. With the exception of dismissal due to unsuitability or incompetence of a probationary employee or a part-time or a temporary employee with less than the equivalent probationary period, an employee considered by the Association to be wrongfully or unjustly discharged or suspended shall be entitled to a hearing under this Article. Step I of the Grievance Procedure may be omitted in cases of suspension or discharge and the matter will be referred directly to the Director of Education.
