Common use of Maximum Teaching Load Clause in Contracts

Maximum Teaching Load. Full-time faculty members with administrative responsibilities 11 may not teach more than 37 ELH in the Fall and Spring semesters combined, except with the 12 approval of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or the SHP Vice President (as applicable), including courses taught at 13 any branch of the Institute, or at any other college. Faculty without administrative 14 responsibilities may carry an overload of two (2) courses or nine (9) ELH each semester.
