The Maximum Teaching Load clause sets a limit on the number of courses, classes, or instructional hours an educator can be assigned within a specific period, such as a semester or academic year. Maximum Teaching Load. No faculty member may teach more than twenty-two (22) credit hours per semester of the academic year, unless an exception is made by the Chief Academic Officer.
