Maternity Access and Mental Health Parity. The MCO shall comply with the maternity access and mental health requirements of the Public Health Services Act, Title XXVII, Subpart 2, Part A, Section 2704, as added September 26, 1996, 42 U.S.C. Section 300gg-4, 300gg-5, and the implementing regulations at 45 CFR 146.136, insofar as such requirements apply to providers of group health insurance.

  • Pregnancy and Maternity Services This plan covers physician services and the services of a licensed midwife for prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care. The first office visit to diagnose a pregnancy is not included in prenatal services. This plan covers hospital services for mother and newborn child for at least forty-eight

  • Maternity Adoption and Parental Leave The following in part reflects the provisions of the Employment Standards Act on these matters. In all cases of dispute, and where the Act as amended from time to time is superior, the provisions of the Act will prevail.

  • Medical Care Leave An Employee who is unable to make the necessary arrangements for maintenance of personal health care outside of scheduled work time, shall be granted time off with pay. Such time off shall not exceed sixteen (16) working hours per calendar year. Hours in excess of sixteen (16) hours per calendar year shall be deducted from the Employee's sick leave accumulation.

  • Extended Health Care Plan (a) The Employer shall pay the monthly premium for regular employees entitled to coverage under a mutually acceptable Extended Health Care Plan.

  • Maternity Services Your benefits for maternity services are the same as your benefits for any other condition and are available whether you have Individual Coverage or Family Coverage. Benefits will be provided for delivery charges and for any of the pre­ viously described Covered Services when rendered in connection with pregnancy. Benefits will be provided for any treatment of an illness, injury, congenital defect, birth abnormality or a premature birth from the moment of the birth up to the first 31 days, thereafter, you must add the newborn child to your Family Coverage.   • Family Care and Medical Leave An unpaid Family Care and Medical Leave shall be granted, to the extent of and subject to the restrictions as set forth below, to an employee who has been employed for at least twelve (12) months and who has served for 130 workdays during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the effective date of the leave. For purposes of this Section, furlough days and days worked during off-basis time shall count as "workdays". Family Care and Medical Leave absences of twenty (20) consecutive working days or less can be granted by the immediate administrator or designee. Leaves of twenty (20) or more consecutive working days can be granted only by submission of a formal leave application to the Personnel Commission.

  • Family and Medical Leave (FMLA FMLA leave shall be granted pursuant to applicable law.

  • Medical Appointment for Pregnant Employees 35.9.1 Up to three decimal seven five (3.75) hours of reasonable time off with pay for each appointment will be granted to pregnant employees for the purpose of attending routine medical appointments.

  • Mental Health The parties recognize the importance of supporting and promoting a psychologically healthy workplace and as such will adhere to all applicable statutes, policy, guidelines and regulations pertaining to the promotion of mental health.
