Common use of Major Overhaul Clause in Contracts

Major Overhaul. 12.5.1. The Concessionaire may undertake Major Overhaul of a Long Term Storage Silo not more than once in every 5 (five) years in accordance with a schedule to be notified by the Concessionaire to the Authority, at least 1 (one) year in advance, and requiring the Authority to evacuate Food Grains from such Long Term Storage Silo prior to the scheduled date of commencement of Major Overhaul. Provided that a Major Overhaul shall not be scheduled during the Harvest Season or during a period of 6 (six) months following the Harvest Season. For the avoidance of doubt, unless the Parties mutually agree, not more than 1 (one) Silo shall be subjected to a Major Overhaul during the course of a Financial Year.
