Common use of Maintenance, Warehouse and Sanitation Departments Clause in Contracts

Maintenance, Warehouse and Sanitation Departments. Employees will be entitled to two (2) fifteen (15) minute rest periods in each twelve (12) hour shift, the first without pay and the second with pay. Employees required to work more than one (1) hour after the completion of a twelve (12) hour shift will be entitled to one additional fifteen (15) minute rest period with pay, which will be taken at the end of the scheduled twelve (12) hour shift, prior to the start of the overtime. For each additional two (2) hours of overtime worked over and above the first one (1) hour of overtime, employees will be entitled to an additional fifteen (15) minute rest period with pay.
