Common use of Longevity Program Clause in Contracts

Longevity Program. The Employer agrees to institute a longevity program for employees represented by Teamsters Union Local No. 142, specifically, employees who work in the Street, Sanitation and Sewer Departments as follows: Sixty Dollars ($60.00) per month for employees with 3 to 8 years of service. Seventy Dollars ($70.00) per month for employees with 8 to 13 years of service. Eighty Dollars ($80.00) per month for employees with 13 or more years of service. Longevity pay shall be paid based on a normal forty (40) hour work week and 4.3 weeks in a month, and longevity shall be prorated based on the number of hours worked in a month.
