Common use of Lockout System Clause in Contracts

Lockout System. During the course of negotiations the Company and the Union discussed machinery lockout. The company will install a "lock-out system" on machinery and equipment in conformity with the Ministry of Labour. A lock-out training program shall be jointly developed and delivered within six months of the signing of this agreement. Any moving machine which is in an unsafe or hazardous condition, shall be "red tagged" until it is made safe.
