Access to Worksite 9.4.1 Authorized representatives of the Association shall have the right to transact official Association business on school property during regular school business hours provided that such activities or use do not interfere with classroom instruction or interrupt normal operations.
Use of State Facilities Resources and Equipment a. Meeting Space and Facilities. The Employer’s campuses and facilities may be used by the Union to hold meetings subject to the University’s policy and availability of the space. The Employer may provide private space for stewards and/or Union representatives to meet in confidence with those they represent on a space available basis. Staff representatives may reserve and utilize meeting rooms in accordance with University policy and procedure. Such requests will be subject to availability and all applicable fees.
Procurement of Small Works Works estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $1,150,000 equivalent, may be procured under lump-sum, fixed-price contracts awarded on the basis of quotations obtained from three (3) qualified domestic contractors in response to a written invitation. The invitation shall include a detailed description of the works, including basic specifications, the required completion date, a basic form of agreement acceptable to the Association, and relevant drawings, where applicable. The award shall be made to the contractor who offers the lowest price quotation for the required work, and who has the experience and resources to complete the contract successfully. UTILIZATION OF SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS Seller agrees to actively seek out and provide the maximum practicable opportunities for small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, women-owned small businesses, minority business enterprises, historically black colleges and universities and minority institutions, Historically Underutilized Business Zone small business concerns and US Veteran and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned small business concerns to participate in the subcontracts Seller awards to the fullest extent consistent with the efficient performance of this Contract.
Access to the Workplace Union health and safety staff or Union consultants shall be provided access to the workplace and to attend meetings of the committee or Union committee or for inspecting, investigating or monitoring the workplace.
Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment. The contractor shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination in the administration of this contract.
Access to Work Locations Reasonable access to employee work locations shall be granted officers of the Association and their officially designated representatives for the purpose of processing grievances or contacting members of the Association concerning business within the scope of representation. Such officers or representatives shall not enter any work location without the consent of the City Manager. Access shall be restricted so as not to interfere with the normal operations of the department or with established safety or security requirements. Solicitation of membership and activities concerned with the internal management of the Association, such as collecting dues, holding membership meetings, campaigning for office, conducting elections and distributing literature, shall not be conducted during working hours.
CARE OF BUILDING AND EQUIPMENT Exhibitors or their agents shall not injure or deface any part of the exhibit building, the booths, or booth contents or show equipment and décor. When such damage appears, the exhibitor is liable to the owner of the property so damaged. 14.
Ownership and Location of Metering Equipment The Metering Equipment to be constructed, the capability of the Metering Equipment to be constructed, and the ownership thereof, are identified on the attached Schedule C to this ISA.
Inspection of Plant The State Purchasing Agent or his/her designee may inspect, at any reasonable time, the part of the Contractor's, or any subcontractor's plant or place of business, which is related to the performance of this contract.
