Local Negotiating Committee Sample Clauses

Local Negotiating Committee. (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize (as defined in the local provisions under L9) number of Negotiating Committee members as outlined in the local appendix to represent their respective bargaining units. This committee shall be comprised of the unit chairperson in addition to (as defined in the local provisions under L9) number of committee members to be elected or appointed from amongst employees in the Bargaining Unit who have completed their probationary period.
Local Negotiating Committee. The Hospital agrees to recognize a Negotiating Committee comprised of five (5) members to be elected, or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit, who have completed their probationary period. Where the Hospital participates in Central bargaining, the purpose of the Negotiating Committee shall be to negotiate local issues as defined. Where the Hospital does not participate in central bargaining, the purpose of the Negotiating Committee shall be to negotiate a renewal of this Collective Agreement. The Hospital agrees that the members of the Negotiating Committee shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regular scheduled working hours in attending such negotiating meetings with the Hospital up to, but not including, arbitration.
