Level 3 - Superintendent a. If the grievant is dissatisfied with the resolution of the grievance by the principal or immediate supervisor at Xxxxx 0, xx/xxx may, no later than ten (10) school/work days after receipt of the decision of the principal or supervisor, forward the written grievance statement to the superintendent and request a meeting.
Level 3 - Superintendent. 263 6.5.1 The grievant may appeal the decision from Xxxxx 0 to the Superintendent 264 within ten (10) working days after receiving it. The appeal shall be submitted 265 to the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources who shall forward the 266 grievance to the Superintendent.
Level 3 - Superintendent. E.1 If the grievant is not satisfied with the written disposition of the principal, he/she shall, within ten (10) days of receipt of the disposition, send a written request for a hearing before the district Superintendent or designee. In addition to the request, the grievant shall include a written explanation of the grievance citing the specific section of the contract that has been violated and the relief sought. A copy of the request and the grievance shall be sent to the President of the Board of Education.
Level 3 - Superintendent. 16 If the grievant is not satisfied with the decision at Level 2, he/she may within ten (10) 17 days appeal the decision on the appropriate form to the Superintendent or his/her designee.
Level 3 - Superintendent. 261 7.5.1 The unit member may appeal the decision from Level 2 to the 262 Superintendent within ten (10) working days after receiving it. The 263 appeal shall be submitted to the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel 264 Services who shall forward the grievance to the Superintendent.
Level 3 - Superintendent. 1. The Superintendent shall within five (5) days of the appeal meet with the aggrieved to resolve the grievance.
Level 3 - Superintendent. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level 2, he/she may submit the grievance to the Superintendent within ten (10) days from receipt of the Level 2 written response. Within ten (10) days of the receipt of the grievance, the Superintendent or his/her designee shall schedule a meeting with the grievant, such meeting to be attended by the grievant and, if the grievant chooses, an Association representative of his/her choice. The Superintendent shall investigate and discuss with others involved. The Superintendent or his/her designee shall deliver a written decision within ten (10) days of the meeting. If the grievant is dissatisfied with the Superintendent’s or his/her designee’s written decision, the grievant shall have five (5) days from receipt of the written decision in which to appeal the decision in writing to Level 4. One (1) copy of the grievance shall be returned to the grievant and one (1) copy shall be retained by the Superintendent.
Level 3 - Superintendent. Failing satisfactory settlement within such time limit, the aggrieved may with the assistance of the Alliance representative (if the teacher so desires) within three (3) school days after receipt of the written decision by his/her supervisor, appeal in writing to the Superintendent, and such writing shall set forth specifically the basis of the grievance. The Superintendent or his/her representative (and the teacher’s principal or immediate supervisor, if the Superintendent so desires) shall meet with the teacher and an Alliance representative within three (3) school days of the receipt by him/her of such appeal. The Superintendent will give his/her decision in writing to the teacher and the Alliance representative within three (3) school days of the meeting.

Within five (5) days of the neutral Administrator's response, a date for a hearing shall be arranged between the bargaining unit member, the Superintendent or his/her designated representative (who must be someone other than the bargaining unit member's immediate supervisor), and/or the Board's Personnel Committee and a representative of the ABEA, and other parities that may be needed to give information relative to the claim. The hearing shall occur within thirty (30) days of the initial request to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered in writing within ten (10) days of the hearing.
