Common use of Lessor’s Authority Clause in Contracts

Lessor’s Authority. In the event that the Lessor and Lessee are involved in any litigation regarding the performance of any of their obligations under this lease, the unsuccessful party by final order, decree or judgment in such litigation by a court of competent jurisdiction shall reimburse the successful party for all reasonable legal fees and expenses incurred by such successful party in connection with obtaining such final order, decree or judgment. Furthermore, in the event of a sale by Lessor of Lessor's ownership interest in and to said real property, Lessor shall be relieved and released from all of Lessor's agreements and obligations hereunder accruing subsequent to the date of said sale.
