Legal requirements, including environmental. You must ensure that the property, the use of the property, and any business or activity that uses the property, comply with every law. Here law includes a governmental action, such as an order, notice or approval. You must do any work and make any change in use needed for this purpose. For example, the property must comply with the building code; your use of it must comply with environmental laws; and if you rent it, the rent must be legal. You must not put or allow anyone else to put anything in or on any part of the property that causes or is likely to cause harm to the life or health of a human being.
